Gidstack
Privacy Policy
How we handle information and the choices you have.
Last updated:
Information you provide
When you create a Gidstack account, we process the account and contact details you provide, your security settings, and the content you choose to create. Your published profile, links, products and other public content can be viewed by visitors and search engines.
When you subscribe to a creator’s list, book a service or buy a product, the information needed for that request is shared with the creator. A creator may use a connected mailing-list service to receive signups. Review the creator’s notices before submitting information; creators are responsible for their own use of customer and subscriber data.
Payments and identity verification
Paystack processes supported payments, bank-account checks and payouts. Gidstack uses transaction references, amounts, statuses and relevant account details to provide receipts, reconcile payments and manage payouts. Do not send card numbers, bank passwords or authentication codes to Gidstack support.
Dojah provides identity-verification services for payout applications. Verification information and review results help Gidstack assess an application and prevent fraud. Verification and a submitted application do not guarantee payout approval; support review and supported payment-provider access are also required.
How information is used
We use information to operate accounts and pages, deliver purchases and requested messages, maintain security, investigate abuse, provide support, and meet applicable record-keeping requirements. Service providers that host data, deliver email, process payments or support verification receive information needed for those functions.
Gidstack and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. We do not intentionally include usernames, payment references, passwords, payment details, identity documents, form entries or email addresses in website analytics events.
Cookies and optional analytics
Essential storage supports account sessions, security and your preferences. The marketing website and signed-in dashboard offer optional Google Analytics to understand aggregate use, such as which public pages and dashboard sections people visit and the broad device categories used. Google may process online identifiers and technical usage information under its own privacy policy.
Optional analytics loads only after you choose to allow it. You can decline without losing access to the site, or change your choice using Analytics preferences. We disable advertising features and do not deliberately send personal form or payment data to Google Analytics. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection from this site; it does not automatically delete data already processed by the provider.
Your analytics preference is stored in that browser for six months. Choices are managed separately on the marketing and dashboard domains, so changing a preference on one does not change it on the other.
Read how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.
Retention and security
We keep information for the purposes described here, including account operation, payment reconciliation, security and legal obligations. Closing an account may not immediately erase records that must be retained for those purposes. Access controls and other technical safeguards help protect information, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can edit account and public-page details in the dashboard and change optional analytics preferences on this website. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain your personal information, or object to certain processing. Contact support@gidstack.com with your request; we may need to verify your authority before acting.
For a creator’s mailing list or use of customer information, contact that creator as well. Do not include passwords, payment-card details or identity documents in an initial support email. Gidstack is not intended for children to independently create accounts or transact without the authority required by applicable law.
Changes and contact
This notice may change as Gidstack’s services or legal requirements change. The date above identifies this version. For privacy questions, contact support@gidstack.com.
