How to set up a custom domain

This guide explains how to connect a custom domain to your Link in Bio page and verify that it is ready for visitors to use.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Custom Domain Settings

    With Pro or Plus, select your Link in Bio page, open the More menu, and select Custom domain.

  2. Add Your Domain

    Enter the domain or subdomain you want visitors to use for your Link in Bio page.

  3. Update Your DNS Records

    Add the ownership TXT record shown in Gidstack to your DNS provider first. Follow the dialog's name guidance: @ means the root domain, and some providers append your domain automatically. After ownership is confirmed, add the A or CNAME routing record that Gidstack shows. Keep the TXT record in place.

  4. Verify the Connection

    Return to Gidstack and select Check connection after saving each required record. Domain ownership, DNS routing, and secure hosting must all be confirmed before the custom URL becomes active; DNS changes may take up to 48 hours. Your Gidstack URL remains available while setup is pending.
